2024 —Donated $3,500 to Wings Rescue raptor rehabilitation to update their surgical hospital to make it safer for the birds and their volunteers.
2019 —$5,000 to the Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network to help with the acquisition of another truck to transport marine mammals
2017 —$5,000 to the Texas Sealife Center on North Padre Island to buy and build shade structures and holding tanks for injured sea turtles
2014 —Friends of Padre provided $6,000 funding for the installation of a drinking fountain on the seawall parking lot on Mike Ellis Beach near South Packery.
2011 —$10,000 donated to Friends of the Ark (Animal Rehabilitation Keep) in Port Aransas
2010 —$2,500 donated to the National Park Service to purchase a beach wheelchair equipped with oversized tires to allow disabled persons access to the beach.
2009 —$20,500 donated to the National Park Service for debris removal resulting from Hurricane Ike.
